What is Filemobile?


FILEMOBILE (“FM”) is the ultimate media sharing tool. It allows users to upload video, audio, photos and documents from their PCs or mobile phone to their online account. Users can share their media with friends, family or the FM community. FM is the ultimate product for searching, sorting, storing, creating, blogging and sharing media.


The best way to learn about Filemobile is to sign up for the Free trial account, upload some files, explore the site. Check out our tours to learn how to use the various features.


Will Filemobile always be free?


Yes, there will always be a free version of Filemobile. It will be limited in certain ways and you get more with your paid subscription. But the trial accounts will still be free and fun.


You have the option to upgrade to a Filemobile Pro Account. This account has a subscription fee.


If you are interested in more storage and more features, you can pre-register for a pay account.We will notify you when these accounts are ready.


Can I pay to keep more of my media on Filemobile?


During our Alpha launch we do have a maximum amount of space per person allotted. However, in the future, you absolutely can! You will be able to upgrade to various pro and commercial accounts.

How many files can I upload for free?


Your free Filemobile account allows you to store up to 1 GB (1024 MB) worth of photos, videos, audio and documents. We at Filemobile want you to enjoy viewing, sending and creating media. Therefore we are not limiting the bandwidth for the site launch.


If you delete files from your account they will be removed from your upload space leaving you space to upload other media. Filemobile keeps a tab on how much storage space you have left in the top right corner of the web page, viewable at all times.


Looking to maximize your space? The photos and videos you take with your cameras will most likely be high graphic resolution. You might want to consider taking photos at a lower resolution or resizing your photos to a more web-friendly size (like 500KB instead of 4MB). This is particularly useful if you plan to view your photos on screen, rather than printing them out. Not only will this save you storage space but will also allow quicker upload of your files.


How do I join Filemobile?


To join Filemobile you simply fill out our on-line registration form. Go to the homepage and click on "Sign Up". You will then guided through three simple steps. The process takes under 1 minute to complete.


How do I edit my profile?


Once you have registered and you are logged into Filemobile, you will have a button available to you on the homepage called "Personal". All you have to do is click on this button, and change any of the information listed in your profile.


How do I recover my user name and/or password?


Our online password finder can help you locate your information immediately.


What do I get when I register at Filemobile?


You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the system that will contain your userid and password.


How do I get in contact with customer service?


You can contact customer service via e-mail at support(@)filemobile.com.


What are the system requirements for Filemobile?

How do I get technical support from Filemobile?


You can contact our technical support team by e-mailing us at: support(@)filemobile.com. Please make sure to tell us what Operating System and Browser your computer is running and make sure to describe the problem you are having in as much detail as possible so that we can accurately offer you the best solution to your problem.


How do I cancel my Filemobile membership?


Contact customer support at support(@)filemobile.com and write in the subject heading "I would like to cancel my membership at Filemobile”. Keep in mind that you will no longer have access to any content or services at Filemobile.
