February 2006 we launched this service as a 1,000 user beta test. At that time Filemobile was nothing more than a beta test around some exciting new web 2.0 technologies. The learnings we gained from this launch has helped us build a leading social media company. Our flagship product Media Factory was built using the technology and learnings we took from our my.filemobile.com launch.
Our business has evolved into a business to business play, and as such we are going to be closing down my.filemobile.com effective February 25th, 2009.
We understand that the content you have uploaded into Media Studio is very important to you.
If you would like to get a copy of all of your content we can send you a .ZIP file containing all of your uploads.
If you would like to receive this please email support@filemobile.com by May 1st, 2009.
In the subject heading please mention: "I would like a .ZIP of my content from my.filemobile.com". In the body of the email please give us your first name, last name and email address for your my.filemobile.com account as well as your password. If we do not receive your request by May 1st, 2009, then your content will no longer be kept by Filemobile.
